Artists, age 18+, of any skill level are encouraged to attend, and may use any media. These 2-hour uninstructed sessions are every Wednesday, 10-Noon. Bring a mask. Cost is $17.

We meet every Wednesday evening at The Gatherings community space in Surry to sing familiar and new songs around a nature based altar from 7-8:30 p.m. Young women and girls are encouraged to join us, too, as long as they are old enough to be present in the circle.

We enjoy a scent-free and peaceful environment built on trust, kindness, and respect for ourselves, one another, and the Earth. You are welcome to join us regardless of your experience with singing for we believe everyone's voice matters and adds value!

This group is open to writers of all levels and genres who are looking for encouragement, inspiration, and community. Each session will include time for introductions and check-ins, a short writing prompt to spark creativity, and opportunities for members to share their work in a supportive environment. The group also provides accountability, community, and a chance to connect with others who share a love of writing.

Every Saturday at 9am
If regular yoga classes are a bit out of your price range, you have trouble finding the motivation to practice alone, or you have been curious to try out yoga for the first time, Community Yoga is for you! These casual classes happen in person every Saturday morning at 9am. The class is usually a more relaxing Yin Yoga.

Classes are in-person and streamed online through glo.com, which features dozens of different teachers and yoga styles!

After class, for those who want to, there will be time to ask questions about poses, help each other out, or share tips and stretches we've been enjoying.

These classes are very casual and are open to all ages and abilities (beginners welcome). There are mats, blocks and straps available, no special clothes are required (comfy recommended) and there is a separate unattended playroom for children if needed, but kids who can focus on the class are welcome to stretch with us too!

$2/person

Hang out and listen to records at Vinyl Night. Bring your records or choose from one of ours. We'll load records up on our stacker player, lounge and chat over drinks while we listen.

Cost: $5 includes a mocktail and your choice of a side of a record.

Come and sit with us! This monthly group is an opportunity for adult men to join together in community and share space as we process things big and small. This group is focused on building a network of strength through connection. Our space will be used for open sharing and active listening; we encourage you to share as deeply as you feel comfortable. The group maintains a strict commitment to confidentiality. The goal is that through conversation and sharing we create a strong network which supports our exploration of fatherhood, friendship, leadership and community.

A for-fun ukulele get-together! Using the big screen to pull up songs, we'll sing and strum some tunes. This will not be a "class", but ukes are easy to play together at different skill levels, so beginners are definitely welcome.
$2/person goes to The Gatherings.

Jnana Yoga and meditation practice with shared teachings and discussion. This monthly gathering is a place for curious spiritual seekers to explore spiritual teachings and practices in community. Each gathering begins with silent meditation. Then we will watch a teaching or read from a spiritual text. Featuring teachings from Ram Dass, Adyashanti, Shunyamurti and others, as well as reading from sacred and contemporary spiritual texts. Following will be a group discussion and sharing.
