Don't forget our twice-weekly community yoga class Don't forget our twice-weekly community yoga classes - affordable yoga for everyone! Saturday mornings at 9am and Monday evenings at 5.30pm. Saturday is usually a more relaxing yin yoga class using the big screen, and on Mondays we have Joe guiding us through an in-person vinyasa flow. A great place to try out yoga if you've never been before - we're just a friendly bunch of not-too-serious folks that enjoy stretching together! 😄
Don't forget about the Fabric & Fiber Swap this we Don't forget about the Fabric & Fiber Swap this weekend, Sunday March 28th from 10am to 1pm - $2 entry!

Bring your unwanted clean and usable items to swap on the day, or drop off in advance on The Gatherings' porch any time. You may bring things like fabric, yarn, fiber, quilting cotton, fat quarters, grab bags of scraps, threads, needles, hooks, bobbins, rotary cutters, buttons and other notions to swap... please bring enough fabric or yarn/fiber that’s enough for someone to make something or use it in a project! This is an honor system swap... It can be hard to place an exact value on items but try not to take more than you bring or swap something very small for something very big. If you don’t have items to swap, that's okay! We'll open the tables to everyone at 11am.

Schedule:
9am: volunteers arrive to organize items (let us know if you'd like to help out!)
10am: doors open, swapping begins for those who brought items
11am: open swapping begins
1pm: clean up (again, let us know if you'd like to help!).

$2/person goes to The Gatherings

This Saturday May 27, and every fourth Saturday of This Saturday May 27, and every fourth Saturday of each month, from 1-3pm is our community kirtan led by Joe Bruno.
Mantra music comes in many forms, including kirtan, an ancient Indian practice of call and response chanting. Chanting has been practiced for thousands of years by diverse cultures and continues to undergo a renaissance in the west. More than just music, kirtan is a contemplative spiritual practice in the vein of meditation and yoga. It offers a pathway to quieting the mind while promoting peace, healing, community building and conscious living.
As a lifelong musician, multi instrumentalist and vinyasa yoga teacher, Joe's call and response kirtans are joyous, light-hearted and celebratory. He previously established and led a weekly Ecstatic Community Kirtan in Sarasota, FL where the group raised thousands of dollars in donations to local food banks and charities serving the developmentally disabled.
This event is by donation, with all funds raised going to The Gatherings. All are welcome.
Should you have any questions or need for additional information please feel free to email Joe Bruno at jbruno56@gmail.com
